Rolling Out Eureka Tortilla's Fresh New Look

Meet Eureka Tortilla. It's the brainchild of the awesome pair, Belén and Henri Revel, who had a lightbulb moment back in 2018. Their goal? Make tortillas the star of the show, not just the supporting act. They took inspiration from everywhere: Belén’s Latin vibes, Henri's downright obsession with tortillas, and together, they whipped up something seriously tasty.

Fast forward a bit, and they were gearing up for a big retail launch. That meant it was time for a fresh look. Enter Buttermilk Creative (that's us!), ready to sprinkle some design magic on their brand.

Our Game Plan:
First up, we wanted to make sure "Eureka" popped right off the packaging. Then, with the added space on the new packs, we had room to play. We sprinkled in some handy callouts and claims so everyone knows what's up when they're grabbing a pack off the shelf.

How'd We Do?:
Okay, we don't have fancy charts or graphs to show off. But the smiles on Henri's face and the thumbs up from store buyers tell us we nailed it.

In a nutshell, giving Eureka Tortilla its fresh new look wasn’t just another day at the office. It was about jazzing up a game-changer in the tortilla world, and man, was it fun!

Dodging Design Curveballs:
Designing for flexible tortilla packaging is a bit like trying to paint on a bouncy castle – tricky! We had to think big and bold, ditching the tiny details that wouldn't stick.

Where We Drew Inspiration:
While most tortilla brands went all-in on the traditional vibes, Eureka Tortilla's fun flavor palette needed something...different. We imagined a design that shouted fun, flavor, and a touch of the unexpected.

The New Look:
We slapped on a big ol' "content band" that covered a good chunk of the packaging. It’s where we threw in the vital info like logo, flavor, and those nifty claims. Each flavor got its own zesty color to help folks pick their fave. And the fun, peppy typeface? That was to capture Eureka's lively spirit. Plus, we left some see-through space to show off those yummy tortillas in all their glory.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work:
Working with Henri was a blast. His insights, straight from the brand's heart, helped steer the ship. And his pointers on what would pop on the shelves? Gold.
