Mend Everyday Essentials is a handmade sewn goods company who creates beautiful, hard working and long lasting handmade pieces for everyday use in limited runs and curated collections.

Our goal was to create packaging that is simple and clean but also versatile to accommodate not only different types of products but also different quantities. We developed a simple scored strip that can wrap around any product grouping and is secured with a little copper staple. Thin labels with sheared edges are applied to denote the item name. This keeps packaging inventory low and manageable, but also retains the handmade bespoke quality of the work. Custom printed fabric tape is also used in the corner of each product to reinforce the logo and as a functional hang tag.

Custom cut hangtags were also designed in the shape of the Mend “spool” icon, which features a hidden “M” in the thread. These are attached to products with a copper pin. The hangtags are beautiful but also functional reinforcing the Mend brand and conveying care instructions.
